Our kitchen and bar offer guests a carefully chosen selection of rustic food and drink that will help you to relax and unwind with us.
The Hotel's kitchen offers guests staying with us dinner, which is served between 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. We serve a simple menu of rustic dishes to nourish stomachs and minds, using some of the best seasonal produce, some of which we now starting to grow ourselves in our polytunnel, in the process.
Our food takes inspiration from a range of sources, ranging from childhood camping holidays to rural France feasting on the ‘plats du jour’ at an auberge, to Helena’s Glaswegian Nanna, and we are working to grow and forage as many ingredients as possible.
The Hotel’s bar, which is open to non-residents, stocks a choice selection of beers, wines, and spirits, including craft brews from the amazing folk at the local Fyne Ales Farm Brewery; specialty Scottish gins and whiskies, often small-batch produced; and bottles for all occasions and pallets. We also offer a dedicated range of low/non-alcoholic alternatives for dry drinkers and drivers, and dogs are not left out either.
Drinks are served in our cozy fireside bar, relaxing lounge, and sun-trap terrace (when rain does not stop play).
We also offer 'carry out' from the bar - please just pop in and ask what is available. For cask/keg sales, you must bring your own vessels, such as a washed plastic milk carton.
